Let our heart’s cry be, “You deserve it Lord!” In every season, situation, high, and low I Pray we be a people who glorify the Name of the Lord. God doesn’t just deserve our praise when we need something or when He has answered a prayer–He deserves it ALL the time.
Ever have something happen that feels like a setback? Well, maybe that frustrating distraction was the answer to your prayers. As an example, maybe God made You late for work to save you from a fatal car accident. You might never know the reason, but God knows and will work things out for our good. So, instead of crying over spilled milk, let’s throw up our hands in worship and say, “You deserve it Lord: all praise, honor, and glory to Your Name!”
Worship changes the atmosphere and praise honors God. God has been faithful and will remain faithful. He doesn’t change nor does He forsake those who love and appreciate Him. We don’t have all of the answers and sometimes things don’t make sense to us, but regardless, we need to trust Him and realize that we are nothing apart from Him. “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon the earth that I desire beside thee (Psalm 74:25 KJV).”
