Psalm 91 – Personal Declaration
I dwell in the secret place of the most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Lord, You are my refuge and my fortress: my God; in You I trust.
You deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
You cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings do I trust: Your truth is my shield and buckler.
I am not afraid of the terror by night; nor of the arrow that flies by day;
Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness; nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come near me or my family.
My eyes will see the reward of the wicked.
I make You, Lord, my refuge and my habitation.
No evil will take me over, and no plague or sickness will come around my home.
Thank You Lord for giving Your angels charge over me, to keep me and my family in all Your ways.
They shall lift me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
In You, I tread upon the lion and cobra: the young lion and the serpent are trampled under my feet.
I will remain steadfast and keep my eyes upon You for I know You always deliver me. You have set me on high and I know the power of Your Name.
I know when I call upon You, Lord, You always answer: You are with me in times of trouble; You rescue and honor me.
Thank you for the promise of long life and the knowledge of Your salvation.
Amen.
