Genesis 1
In Genesis 1 we learn all about how God created the heavens and the earth in the span of 7 days. Stop with me for a moment and envision God creating and building with colorful blocks, piece-by-piece and day-by-day.
He took His time to create something beautiful, pausing between to gaze upon His works.
All that to say, life is a block-by-block process. Building requires patience, having an eye for how to assemble the pieces, and the ability to pause and see if “it’s good”. Being hasty can get us into trouble and being hesitant for too long can result in missed opportunities.
And most interestingly of all, sometimes the blocks used to form something great aren’t even blocks we as people would consider using at all…
That’s where partnering with God and using what He’s made available to us becomes key to success in life.
Stop complaining about what you don’t have, and start seeing what you do you have and what you can produce with it.
